Self Timing Egg?

A self timing egg for boiling has been invented in the UK. Truly, you choose soft, medium, or hard and pop it into the pot. You boil it until the lion logo shows up and your egg is ready.

I donno man.

If you want a yumass boiled egg you put the egg(s) in a pan and cover them (plus an inch) with cold water. Then you turn on the heat to medium. After the water begins to boil, cover the pan and turn off the heat. Wait about 1.5 min and presto: yumass hard boiled eggs.

If it's a smaller pan it may take longer. The trick is do a few patches with the same pan till you adjust. After that use the same pan and timing every time you make the eggs.

A good HBegg has a tender light yellow yoke, or some like a congelled texture. If you see a green sulfur ring you aren't eating a yumass egg.. The egg white is solid white with a pearlish tone. The surface will be delicate and easily mar.

The temp logo thing might interfere with that process or help. I donno.

I'm making myself hungry.
