Bird Pictures

While at my niece's graduatio, I had the opportunity to take some bird pictures. The feeder in the back yard has an amazing variety of birds, ranging from woodpeckers, sparrows, cardinals, and hummingbirds. It was too good an opportunity to pass up for taking photographs. These are a few that I haven't run through photoshop at any real level.

National Gallery in Ottawa Erects a Spider

The National Gallery of Canada installed a giant bronze spider by its front doors. It cost $3.2 million, making it the gallery's most expensive purchase ever. Lots of fun in my home town!

Wal-Mart Gives Up DVD Rentals

Netflix has come out ahead of Wal-Mart in its business. They conceded and have encouraged all their subscribers to move to Netflix.

It warms my heart that some groups are able to fend off that monster-sized retailer.
