Sunset in Colorado today.

Just posted a few pictures from the Veteran's Tribute Garden in Westminster, CO

Just posted pictures from today's visit to the Pumpkin Patch and Halloween Carnival.

Just posted pictures from the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.

Out to the Pumpkin Patch.

Upgrade, locally, from Drupal 5 to 6=WSOD when all modules are shut off. Updates like a charm when all are left on. Not what I expected.

Just finished an upgrade and update of the Nonprofit Commons on my local machine. Now I need to get it staged for review. Another day.

Getting files ready for the nonprofitcommons blog upgrade.

Intense week. Still have stuff to take care of prior to relaxing for the weekend.

At Yume in Federal Heights, CO getting sushi to go.

Ran out of bread this morning-made sure the kiddo had a turkey sandwich first-means me buying lunch. Eating a slice of pizza from Calore.

The jackhammers outside my window are moving farther up the street reducing the noise a bit. Hard to think with "Jack" hammering the road. "Palin’s Makeup Stylist Fetches Highest Salary in 2-Week Period"

Ugh traffic.

Getting the kiddo ready for school. What do you use for motivation for your kid to wake up and do what s/he needs to? For us, Kidzbop.

Morning all. It is a little cold and dark this morning. 43F or 6C. I've just put the kettle on and I'm thinking about a very busy day.

Time to head to bed I think. I need to be up in about five hours.

Just finished putting numbers on an initial project estimate. Onto tweaking the language that will accompany it.

Kiddo in bed, I'm getting myself set to continue some work I wasn't able to get done today at the office. Deadlines are deadlines.

On my way to fetch my kiddo at daycare.

Busy working through a scope document and subsequent time estimate. Thank goodness for more than one monitor on my computer.

Kidz Bop is burning deep into my brain. Eight year old kid motivation.

Good Morning! I'm waking up and making tea on quite a cold morning. 26 F or -3 C. Brrrr!

Working on the Nonprofitcommons blog site.

Never try and import a mysql db using bigdump that has been exported using phpmyadmin with extended inserts checked off. It just won't work.

Helping my kiddo with homework. Who would have think grade three would have SO much each night.

Getting ready for a client call using gotomeeting. What do you use for Web demonstrations? Do you like it?

Ran out and got a slice--I forgot my turkey sandwich at home!

Morning! It is early on Wednesday and it is cold. 33 F or 1 C depending on your favoured gauge of temperature. I'm making tea.

Time for bed I think. Night everybody.

Ever had a MySQL database that just *won't* import.

Starting to move the nonprofit commons from D5 to D6. Getting my localhost setup now.

Signed up for Drupalcon DC about two hours ago. Got one of the $125 registrations.

At post office dropping off my (and my wife's) ballot.a

Drupalcon DC registration is open: is back!

Waking up in the dark. Making coffee.

Sunday, October 19, 2008

I think its time to hit the sack. Have a great evening!

Catching up with a friend from University on Facebook.

Cooking up a little supper. Can you guess one of the main ingredients? Tomatoes.

Blanching tomatoes for winter freezing.

"Kid Bop" coming from my kiddo's room. "August Rush" coming from the family room. Strange juxtoposition for me sitting in the living room.

Catching up on some client work from last week, drinking tea, downloading a site I manage to start an upgrade/update plan.
