Elvis Stojko -- Recording an Album

I came across this article on the CBC web site while catching up on news from back home.

I seriously thought it was a joke when I first saw a poll on the site.

Figure skating, karate, kickboxing, show tune singing...

Comments:
Oh, it's no joke. This dude is serious, man. I'm looking forward to his CD. Sad that he's not skating any more, but it was time to move on.

It is sad that he isn't skating anymore. I enjoyed his performances tremendously. He had an energy that no other skater I ever remember presented.

Stojko is bald and ugly now. Looks much older than he is. Oh well, your blog rocks.

Thanks. I enjoy writing it and it pleases me when I get feedback that folks enjoy reading it.

If his singing career takes off he'll probablly record another. He's still involved with marial arts.

who'd want to buy it anyway since he's bald and ugly now? I may be superficial, but I only want to hear attractive, talented people sing.

What amazes me isn't the fact that Elvis is getting into a musical career, but that a person is dissing him using multiple identities as well as anonymous...they are so creative at times, and then Emailing me with links to recent and not so recent posts...Why? Why do they bother to send them to me? This person seems to have made a full-time job out of squalking about Stojko. Ignore the troll, that's what she is...oure and simple, just looking for attention.

This is the energizer bunny thread. It just keeps going and going.

f it isn't too much trouble, I think it might prove interesting to see if my theory...on your blog, it would be that the 'Anonymous' post from 2:34, the 'elvisisugly' post from 11:31 and the 'Anonymous' from 12:33 are all from the same city. If they are, then it would pretty much secure my bet that they are all from the same person.

It is indeed bizarre...I think they tracked down my blog off a search engine and when they saw I admired Stojko's skating and wrote for a living, they might get their fifteen minutes of fame or something...however, I seriously doubt I'd even mention it in a piece I was selling ;-) Unless I turn to non-fiction and gather info on "Internet Crazies" or something like that...LOL...hmmm, that might not be a shabby idea!

What I've learned while playing detective, instead of just writing about them, is that this disser more than once makes a reference indicating that she (fairly certain it's a female) has actually read more than just an individual post...stating that she's impressed with their blog...I called her out on it yesterday, after following a link to a blog that was closed to public view since August and she posted her comment in September stating she really liked the blog...so she isn't just a run-of-the-mill freak, but a stupid one to boot!

Thanks for your offer to shed some light on at least where this person is from.
