A Horrible Tragedy at Home

The worst killings of Royal Canadian Mounted Police in the history of the force occured this past week. I am saddened and feel deeply for those who have lost family and friends. I was watching the National on the Internet last night. About half of the hour long show was devoted to this horrible event.

It had been awhile since I last checked the news from home. What a horrible tragedy and it all began with a dented tailgate. Absolutely awful. My prayers are with those officer's families.

Thanks for hooking me up with the CBC coverage. I found my way over to The National newscast that you referred to. It was SO good to see Peter Mansbridge again. That helped with the homesickness a little bit!
