Colorado Business Committee for the Arts

Today I attended the CBCA's awards luncheon where the business community, who support the arts, are awarded for being positive forces for the arts in a variety of ways. There were about 400 folks from the arts and business community--a good turnout for a Thursday afternoon.

The chair of WESTAF, Len Edgerly, was in attendance--he is a writer and a technophile--and we got to talking about bluetooth and blogs. Turns out he has been blogging himself, writing about his travels, literature, and his thoughts. It is well worth the time to spend some time visiting with him virtually.

What about the CBCA? The work they do is important for Colorado's cultural sector. They encourge the sybiosis between arts and business. And for a fella that makes his living from the arts industry, this is a good thing.

Thanks. This is the first time I've seen my blog mentioned in the blogosphere. There's no turning back now!
